اعوذ بالله من الشیطان الرجیم

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Islamic Rituals & Practices

We need to say Audubillah min Al-Sheytan Rajim which means: I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan. When we start by saying this we become safe from Satan and all Satanic forces. We should start with this.

Then we say "Bism'Allah Rahman Rahim" which means: In the Name of Allah the Most Compassionate The Most Merciful. This then allows us to start anything we need to do with success. This sentance in itself brings about blessings beyond imagination. This is the compassion and mercy of our Creator which gets bestowed upon us. We should always follow the above sentance and start everything we want to do with Bism'Allah! Insha'Allah! Even if you forget and remember you have forgotten just say it then and you will be fine.

Albeit most religions are ritualistic the use of occult practices in Islam can be found in some mystical traditions such as the Qalandariya Tariqat, where by the use of Amulets, Talismans, Invocations & Incantations of Prayers, the conjuring of spirits, jinn's, deevs (demons), pari (fairys), houris (maidens) and angels is still in use in various Islamic countries till this day.

The topic of Islamic amulets and talismans is a very broad topic, the following terms are used in this conjunction to better describe what is being discussed:

Hirz: This word is used in reference to a prayer, a piece of writing, or an amulet for protection. Its literal meaning is “a fortified container that protects something”. It means to safeguard, fortify, preserve and protect. In the technical usage of this word, it means using a fortified vessel for protection from dangers. A hirz (pl. ahraz) is used to protect oneself against evil eye, misfortunes, and for the gaining of sustenance and health. It is something recited, written or worn. A hirz is usually readable words and sentences.

Ta’widh: Or ta’veez, has a similar meaning to hirz, also meaning seeking protection. This word comes from al-‘awdhah, which means to seek refuge and resort to the Almighty. A ta’veez would be recited, written, or worn for the sake of protection against harm, thieves, wild animals, being scared, and being safe from other things. This term is usually used by Muslims of the Sub-continent.

Hijab: This term is also used in reference to a hirz or a ta’veez. This term is usually used among Lebanese Muslims.

Talasm: Written in Arabic as طلسم , its English equivalent is Talisman, coming from the Arabic word and the Greek telesma. In Persian it is pronounced as telesm. The term talisman is a familiar word in the English language, like the term amulet, and it usually a consecrated object used as a charm to bring good luck and banish evil. One view is that طلسم read the opposite way is مسلط, or ‘control’, which means the talisman will ‘control’. In the Islamic tradition a talsam is usually made up of figures or symbols, engraved on a stone.

Ruqyah: This term (al-ruqyah al-shar’iyah) is usually used among Sunni Muslims, referring to a method of repeated recitation of selected Quranic verses for the purpose of treating illness, evil-eye, Jinn and magic. Ruqyah comes from the word raqa, which means to elevate, and its technical meaning is to resort to God for the purpose of overcoming and elevating over an illness or a problem. An English equivalent for this word would be ‘incantation’.

TAWEEZ

The use of inscribed amulets containing Quran Verses and the names of Allah is common between Muslim people. The traditional Taweez (Amulets) are considered to possess extremely effective magical powers, moreover, these talismans can be used by both Muslims and non-Muslims. Indeed, the majority of authentic mystical objects will work regardless of a person’s religious affiliation mostly because the taweez is not something that exists in reality but rather it works through the imagination of an individual and at a minimum has a placebo effect. One Taweez can change a person, change society, change a country & change the world!

The Taweez effects the imagination and will of an individual. First the taweez impresses and influences the victim’s mind and will power and through time when the effect of taweez becomes powerful enough directly has an effect on the victim as they start to make decisions under the influence of the taweez. In other words we can say that taweez or its effect works psychologically.

There are two major kind of taweez or purposes of taweez, good and the other one is for bad, the good purpose taweez are used to create affection, love between husband and wife, increase in wealth and business, curing disease, solving domestic problems and stopping bad habits like drinking or smoking, etc. The bad taweez or in other words taweez which are made on the basis of bad intentions also called taweez-e-bad are used to create hate between two people, sometimes to arise a dispute between family members specially husband and wife or separation, for any personal gain, for revenge, destroying business or carriers lust and love powers. According to Islam, practicing any sort of bad magic is said to be one of the most vile sins in Islam.

There are some symptoms of taweez (good or bad) on victim of it. Different types of taweez or magic has different symptoms. Some of the symptoms are that the victim will feel sudden strokes or headache occasionally in his/her forehead and the pain will travel towards the back of the head and sometimes one might feel pain in whole of thier body, secondly the victim might see nightmares and in nightmares he/she will see Snakes, Black dogs or cats.

In some cases the victim will see dreams in which he/she will see things which indicate that something bad will happen to him/her. Thirdly the victim feels burdens on his/her shoulder and feel tired all the time (Usually it happens with someone is under the influence of “Jinn or Saya”). Sometime victim feels struggle between mind and heart about some decisions (usually it happens when someone use taweez on victim for some personal gain). Some other symptoms are anything unnatural like sleeplessness, unexplained illness, unknown fear and when things are going in the right direction, suddenly encounter obstacle, loss in business, problems in career etc. It doesn’t matter what kind of taweez (good or bad) done on victim, they will have one or more above mentioned symptoms. Taweez bad Taweez done!

It has been suggested that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) sanctioned the use of inscribed amulets and, through the Qur’an, passed on to his followers the history of Solomon as a magician and the emphasis of the apotropaic qualities that the names of Allah held. The Qur’an is believed to possess magical or supernatural powers, which coincides with the use of its verses within amulets as an element of protection.

It is said if you memorize and know only the two Surahs (Alhamulillah) and (Gholhovallah) and recite them three times it is the same as reciting the entire Holy Quran! We call this Al-Fatiha!

Moreover, certain suras of the Qur’an are considered extremely efficacious in their apotropaic potency and are used more frequently within amulets. The fact that the Qur’an is believed to hold the answers to all queries, coupled with the attested faith that Muslims hold for the Qur’an, creates the potential for it to be intermingled with other non-religious aspects in an acceptable manner.

In addition to verses from the Qur'an, some amulets also incorporated the names of Allah as an additional layer of protection because the names of God (and His attributes), or ‘the Beautiful Names’ are considered to possess the greatest magical powers. The juxtaposition of the names of Allah along with Qur’anic verses on an amulet can be interpreted as a manner in which to ensure the amulet’s continuous apotropaic efficacy whilst serving as a supplication, which calls upon God’s divine protection and mercy.

Throughout the centuries, the lion has generally been acknowledged as a symbol of power in numerous cultures. It exercises magic and talismanic functions as a sign of the zodiac. The lion as the king of the beasts has long fascinated and challenged man. It plays a large part in the decorative arts and mythologies of many cultures and Islam is no exception. The Persian Lion and Sun symbol is one of the most powerful symbols of the world and is the most powerful symbol of the Islamic world.

The symbol itself is of great antiquity. It has astrological reference to the constellation of Leo and its ascendancy when the sun is in Leo. It also refers to ancient symbols of royal lineages and divinity; the sun being a symbol of solar deities and, by extension, of solar lineages. Both the Sun and the Lion are also symbols of royalty from ancient times, the sun being the ruler of the heavens, and the lion being the ruler over the animals, as the king is the ruler over men.

The emblem changed over time from a lion (often depicted lying on the ground) and a sun with a human face, to a lion standing and holding a sword in its paw and a sun across its back, generally, the lion always faces left and holds the sword in its right paw.

This is very powerful Taweez/Talisman which is used to get rid of Asaib (Evil Spirits), Jinnats (Jinn), Hamzaad (Astral Attacks), Evil Eye (Nazar-e-Bad) this Taweez/Talisman brings good fortune in home and the bearer of this Taweez/Talisman is blessed and protected by divine powers.

How to use this Taweez/Talisman:

It is hanged in any room of the home where there’s no television and pictures hanged and see the taweez/talisman once in the morning when you get up and once before going to bed. The Sadqa should be given before hanging the Taweez/Talisman Rs.101 should be given as Sadqa to any poor and needy person.

HOURIS

Houris are women who will accompany faithful believers in Paradise. Muslim scholars differ as to whether they refer to the believing women of this world or a separate creation, with the majority opting for the latter. They are often desribed as having eyes with a marked contrast of black and white, the houris are mentioned in several passages of the Quran, always in plural form. No specific number is ever given in the Quran for the number of houris accompanying each believer and the Quranic description of the houris should be viewed in a context of love; "every pious man who lives according to God's order will enter Paradise where rivers of milk and honey flow in cool, fragrant gardens and virgin beloveds await home..."

Most Iranians firmly believe in the “evil eye.” The concept of “evil eye” is about being the victim of a curse on someone else’s behalf. Iranians at times tend to be secretive about their achievements or upcoming endeavors simply because they are afraid that someone will bestow them with the evil eye. In fact sometimes you will see people refrain from sharing particular aspects of their lives out of fear of “cheshm khordan,” literally translated being struck by the eye.

In Iran Esfand is used to fight against the evil eye. This is a tradition that has been passed down through generations from the days of Zoroastrianism. The idea is to burn Esfand seeds during which time the seeds make a popping sound, then the smoke that comes from the burning seeds must be circled around one’s head and home. The smoke and the popping sound are said to take away the evil.

The concept of the evil eye is something that many cultures believe in and share, some cultures come to terms with the evil eye by knocking on wood (symbolised as knocking on the wood of the Cross of Christ (pbuh)), some people knock on their head, others throw salt back over their head, and some wear anti-evil eye accessories.

Ghoul

Ghoul (Arabic: غول‎, ghūl) are generally considered to be giants, they are demon-like beings or monstrous humanoids originating in the pre-Islamic Arabian religion and also adopted into Iranian folklore. They are associated with graveyards and consuming human flesh. In modern fiction, the term has often been used for a certain kind of undead monster. By extension, the word ghoul is also used in a derogatory sense to refer to a person who delights in the macabre or whose profession is linked directly to death, such as a gravedigger or graverobber.

Ghoul is from the Arabic غُول ghūl, from غَالَ ghāla, "to seize". In Arabic, the term is also sometimes used to describe a greedy or gluttonous individual. In the Arabic folklore, the ghul is said to dwell in cemeteries and other uninhabited places. A male ghoul is referred to as ghul while the female is called ghulah. The Arabic is as a female creature who is sometimes called Mother Ghoul (ʾUmm Ghulah) or a relational term such as Aunt Ghoul. She is portrayed in many tales luring helpless characters, who are usually men, into her home where she can eat them.

Some state that a ghoul is a desert-dwelling, shape-shifting demon that can assume the guise of an animal, especially a hyena. It lures unwary people into the desert wastes or abandoned places to slay and devour them. The creature also preys on young children, drinks blood, steals coins, and eats the dead, then taking the form of the person most recently eaten. One of the narratives identified a ghoul named Ghul-e Biyaban, a particularly monstrous character believed to be inhabiting the wilderness of Afghanistan and Iran.

Some believe the ghoul to be a class of jinn who could be
converted to Islam if someone recites the Verse of the Throne.

He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills, His throne includeth the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them, He is the Sublime, the Tremendous

Deevs

Deev (or Div) are monstrous creatures in Iranian mythology, comparable to fiends or ogres. They consist of a body similar to a human, but are giant, with two horns, relishing human flesh, powerful cruel and stone-hearted with teeth like a boar, they are often black, with long teeth, black lips, blue eyes (kabûd-chašm), claws on their hands, and large bodies covered with thick hair. Some demons have several heads, while others have monstrous ears or teeth. Often they eat people.

The epics tell of demon lands. There, they have a king, with all the trappings of kingship including armies, demon generals, cities, fortresses, farms, herds, etc. One of their most curious characteristics is that they tend to be contrary in their behavior, doing the opposite of what they are asked to do. For this reason, they are often called vârûna, (backwards, inside out), or vârûna-khûy. Not unrelated to their contrariness is their tendency to sleep during the day and roam about at nights.

Despite their physical shape, like jinn and shayatin (demons), the cause of demonic possession and insanity is ascribed to them. Their natural opponents are the Pari, a fairy-like spirit originated from Iranian tradition. Some of them use primitive types of weapons such as stones, while others appear as warriors with armors and weapons. Additionally to their physical strength, some of them are masters of sorcery, overcoming their enemies with magic. Sometimes their approach may be detected from changes in temperature, or by a fowl smell in the air.

“In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on the earth or in the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”

In Persian folklore, deevs are supposed to look like horned men, with animal heads and hooves. Some take the form of a snake or a dragon with multiple heads. However, as shapeshifters, they can take almost every other form too. They are feared during night, the time when they are awake, since it is said that darkness increases their power. Folk tradition makes demons responsible for a number of mental and physical maladies.

The very Persian word Dîvânagî (insanity) betrays the association of all mental illness with demonic possession. Other such minor conditions as fever blisters Tab-Khâl, also called Afat-e Dîv (the demon's malady) are attributed to demons. There is a variety of demon who causes nightmares or deceptive dreams.

According to folk tradition, Dîvs and Jinns are said to fear the sound of the dog and the white roosters. They come in different colors: White, Yellow, Green, Red and Black. They have a tendency to alternate long periods of wakefulness and sleep, each lasting several days, and to become sleepy in sunlight. Typically this unfortunate habit proves to be their undoing.

They are quite fond of human women, whom they steal or forcibly marry. Although usually the human mate of the demon is an unwilling bride, sometimes a woman wooed by a demon, grows so amorous of her demon husband as to agree to harm her own kin at his bidding. Some demons give away a sister in marriage to a human male in exchange, however, they generally prefer to steal human maidens, whom they take to their home, which is usually at the bottom of a well, place their heads upon her lap, and sleep for several days at a time. Many demons have an external soul, the destruction of which is the sole way to kill them. This they may keep hidden in a box or pendant, in a live fish, or in the body of some other animal. Breaking this pendant or box can instantly kill them. One tale suggests that the bow was invented to fight the demons.

The Blessed Prophetic Ring (Seal) of Prophet Soleiman (pbuh)
This ring gave Prophet Solomon (pbuh) the power to command
Demons, Jinn (genies) and Various Spirits as well as speak with Animals.

Demons who were overcome by a king or a hero, would often serve him as his slave. The primordial kings, Tahmûrath and Jamšêd could control the demons. Tahmûrath received the title dîvband (binder of demons) because of his victory over them. This title in the Šhahnameh (Book of Kings) has been also used of Rostam. Jamšêd, however, was more of a Solomonic figure, ruling all living beings including the demons. When the demons served a ruler, they either taught him something such as writing, or they served him as great builders.

The demons often organize themselves in great armies and fight a primordial king whose forces are made up of animals. The demon is finally killed either by weapons, or by means of breaking the container in which he keeps his external soul. In the latter case, he turns into smoke and disappears into thin air. Sometimes the hero does not kill the demon after overcoming him in battle. In exchange for his life, the demon agrees to serve the hero as his slave, and to indicate his servitude, the hero places an iron ring or a nail from his shoe in the demon's ear lobe. In the Shahnameh (Book of Kings) Rostam also took the Deev's head as a helmet and is often pictured wearing it. An ancient Persian warrior battalion also once existed whereby the warriors could be seen wearing horned demon like helmets, they were called the "Deev-Saran" or "Demon-Headed" and used to strike fear deep into the hearts of their foes.

In the short epic tale Rostam o babr-e bayân, which is incorporated into the Farâmarz-nâma, Rostam fights and overcomes a demon called Galîmîna-gûš, who goes into Rostam's service. When Farâmarz defeats a black demon, he pierces his ears placing therein two horse shoes as the mark of the latter's servitude. The demon goes on to serve Farâmarz so faithfully that he is even dispatched to ask for the hand of a princess on behalf of the hero. This willingness of a vanquished demon to serve the victor is explicitly stated in the Persian folktales, where often demons offer to wrestle a hero saying: "If you win, I will be your slave".

According to the Islamic legends of Persia, the deev have been entrusted to govern the earth 70,000 years before the creation of Adam, until they had been superseded by Pari and Jinn ruled by Jann ibn Jann. However, when Jann ibn Jann offended heaven, an army of angels led by Iblis came down to earth, commanded by God to overthrow him. Iblis succeeded with the aid of some traitorous Deev.

When God created the first human, Iblis and his rebellious Angels refused to do homage and joined the Jinn and Deev, he just defeated before. His immediate followers were sent to the infernal regions of the underworld, while the rest of them were allowed to wander the earth as constant source of misery and suffering. Both Arabs and Persians located their new capital in Mount Kaf, the city of Ahreeman-Abad, named after Ahriman, who became their current king.

In the Gathas, the oldest texts of the Zoroastrian religion, the Daevas are "gods that are (to be) rejected" & clearly identified with Evil.

Six Arch-Daevas (Arch-Demons) oppose the six Amesha-Spentas (Arch-Angels), numerous other figures appear in scripture and tradition. According to Bundahishn, the six Arch-Demons have cooperators (hamkars), arranged in a hierarchy (not further specified) similar to that of the Yazatas. All sins that creatures commit are created by Deevs, below is a list of Deevs and what they do:

Akatash of perversion.
Anashtih of strife.
Anast that utters falsehood.
Apaush and Spenjaghra who cause drought.
Araska of vengeance.
Ashmogh of apostasy.
Az of avarice and greed.
Buht of idolatry.
Bushasp of sloth (Avestan Bushyasta).
Diwzhat (Av. Daebaaman), the deceiver, the hypocrite.
Eshm of wrath (Avestan Aeshma).
Freptar of distraction and deception.
Jeh the whore (Avestan Jahi).
Mitokht (also Mithaokhta) of scepticism and falsehood.
Nang of disgrace and dishonor.
Nas or Nasa (Avestan Nasu) of pollution and contamination.
Niyaz causes want.
Pinih of stinginess and who hoards but does not enjoy its hoard.
Rashk (Avestan Areshko) of envy.
Sij who causes destruction.
Sitoj that denies doctrine.
Spazg of slander.
Spuzgar, the negligent.
Taromaiti of scorn.
Varun of unnatural lust.

Other entities include:

Aghash of the evil eye. Astwihad of death (Avestan Asto-widhatu or Asto-vidatu).
Azh-Dahak (Avestan Azi Dahaka), a serpent-like monster king.
Cheshma who opposes the clouds and causes earthquakes and whirlwinds.
Kunda, the steed that carries sorcerers.
Uta who brings about sickness through food and water.
Vizaresh that fights for the souls of the dead.

The most destructive of these are Astiwihad, the demon of death that casts the noose of mortality around men's necks at birth, and Az, who is most capable of destroying the "innate wisdom" of man. Az is thus the cause of heresy and blinds the righteous man from being able to discern the truth and falsehood.

A list of ten demons is provided in the Shahnameh: Besides the afore-mentioned Az "greed", Kashm "wrath" (Avestan Aeshma), Nang "dishonor", Niaz "want", and Rashk "envy", the epic poem includes Kin "vengeance", Nammam "tell-tale", Do-ruy "two-face", napak-din "heresy", and (not explicitly named) ungratefulness.

Some of the entities that in the Middle Persian texts are demons, are in the Shahnameh attributes of demons, for instance, varuna "backwards" or "inside out", reflecting that they tend to do the opposite of what they are asked to do. Although Ferdowsi generally portrays divs as being distinct from humans, the poet also uses the word to denote "evil people" or people with demon like attitudes & behaviour "Deev-Sefatan".

One of the more popular stories from the Shahnameh is that of Rostam and the Dīv-e Sepīd, the "white demon" of Mazandaran, who blinds Rostam's men (who are then cured with the blood of the demon's gall), shown above.

Jinns

Mankind has been fascinated by Jinns most likely by storys like Arabian Nights and such films like Aladin, But Jinns do not like us to percieve them or stereotype them as ''Jinns who grant wishes''. As they are just like us they Eat, Marry, Have Children, etc.

There form of Government has always been a Kingdom, Always most likely the Jinn King has been the most pious and powerful who takes charge, Also there are many occasions that Sufi Saints have become Kings in charge of Jinn Kingdom this form has been more favored.

The Quran Shareef has explained how Allah created the Jinns and Mankind only to worship Allah and also Allah has devoted a whole Surah on the Jinns (Surah Jinn), Like us the Jinns have been created with freewill and some of them are bad and some good, Jinns also follow many religions like humans.

But Allah has given Mankind more superioty over the Jinns but the Jinns have been given exceedingly powerful attributes like flying, being invisible, Shapeshifting, etc.

Although the Jinns are hidden they do appear when called upon or when neccessary, And most likely the Jinns appear in human form as the law of Allah is that the Jinns appear in human form or other form like animal when appearing in front of humans as they have a very scary image and feature that man is not capable to look at. So for this reason Jinns appear human/Animal form so that they do not scare frighten humans.

The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has said in a hadith regarding Jinns that Jinns are of three types, one type that fly around in the air (Hawanni Jinns) which have wings, second type are those that like snakes, Dogs, wild animals etc, And the third that travel that stops for a rest then resumes its journey.

Also it is narrated in the Hadith of when the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and his companions were traveling through some forest and the Prophet said to his companion to sit down and wait and do not move from this Circle, (The Prophet drew a Circle hisar around the companion) The Prophet then went to the King of Jinns and invited him to Islam.

Now there are different types of Jinns some which has been explained above some other form are the ones that live in the lower worlds which are called the IFRIT Jinns they are rebelious form of Jinns and they are ruled by Hazrat Darda'eel. The Jinns are unlike us as they can be more ignorant, and less knowlege,While Mankind has been give the gift of knowlege and power to rule them.

Now sometimes it happens that Amils (practitoners) May seek help from the Jinns even though there is nothing wrong with this as the Prophet Sulieman alahi salam himself seeked help from the jinns to help build the Al Aqsa Mosque, And also how narrated in the Quran Sulieman seeked help in bringing the throne of Bilqees (Sheba) in front of him in seconds, Even though instead a Saint Called Asif brought the throne in a mili second.

But some evil Amils may seek help from Jinns to do bad like to Kill someone or to do Black Magic on someone, This is the most evil and disgusting art of such Amils, The Jinns when ordered to kill someone may like us turn a blind eye and lie to the Amil and say they have killed that person when in reality they havent, Yet some ignorant Jinns may actually carry out that command.

HOW TO SUMMON A JINN

Fasting

One has to go through a period of fasting from sunrise to sunset for numerous days. Upon breaking the fast, you are allowed only to eat vegetarian prepared meals that have been prepared by yourself. No food that had a soul may be eaten. This rule needs to be followed for a successful evocation. The reason why a vegetarian diet is required is because the body needs to be de-toxified of any spiritual impurities. This also helps in meditation and the invocation of Angelic assistance. Without the invocation of Angelic assistance, the operator's life is exposed to great danger without question. If you look at various medieval grimoires, you will see a similar fasting regime which attributes to the same principle.

Retreat (Chilla)

The operator has to retreat into isolation. This basically means you need to shut yourself into a room where no one is allowed. This can range from a few days to a full 40 day retreat for complex Jinn evocations. The room is thoroughly cleaned with no furniture etc. Constantly incense is burned and rose water is sprinkled in the four corners. This room becomes the operator's temple where he/she prays and meditates. Ultimately it is here in this room that the Jinn is called. The operator can open a window for ventilation. Once into the spiritual retreat there is minimal sleep. Around the clock various mantras are recited and constant forgiveness is asked from the Divine. If one has to sleep then this has to be done while in a sitting position. Clothing must be clean always while in retreat and Holy washes are performed numerous times during the day. Again various incense attributes to various types of evocation. To summon a normal Jinn you would use a particular type of incense but for a Jinn King it would be completely different.

Lunar Calender

Jinn evocation is done on selected months of the Arabic lunar calender. Certain months are not suitable for evocation especially the month of Ramadan which is the Holy Month of Muslims. To try and summon a Jinn in the Holy Month of Ramadan is sucidal. Muslim Jinns like Muslim humans also fast and pray, and to be summoned at this time leads to grave danger with even the possibility of loss of life. Also, an evocation is prohibited on a Thursday night as again for Muslim Jinns and humans, Thursday night is a special night for prayers leading upto to the Friday Prayer. I can speak from experience as I was present in a similar situation and I am just about here to tell my tale.

The Actual Night of The Ritual

All Jinn evocation is done a night and in complete darkness. Jinn as a rule do not like any light and thus the room needs to be in pitch black with curtains closed. No light should enter the room what so ever. The operator must erect a circle of protection. The circle can be drawn with chalk on the ground but due to modern day carpeting the circle may also be sketched on canvas and then placed on the ground. Selected Koranic Verses are written around the circle perimiter. Various amulets of protection are also written within the circle. The amulets are in the form of Kameas (squares with numbers in Arabic). Magical diagrams and Angelic scripts are also written in various positions within the circle. Incense is burnt within the circle of protection, the censor is positioned towards the east.

The operator enters the circle of protection and using a dagger, recites various mantras and closes the circle by tracing the outer perimeter. The outter perimiter is sprinkled with iron fillings as Jinn fear iron. The operator inscribes various symbols on his/her forehead and arms for added protection. For the final protection phase, the operator wears a protective vest inscribed with Koranic Verses. The only weapon that is needed if the circle is broken is the dagger. Operator may utilise the dagger in defense if attacked.

A prayer mat is placed on a chair and in turn the chair is positionedin the eastern side of the room outside the circle. The chair is placed there for the Jinn to sit on if the Jinn wishes. Fresh flowers, specially roses of various colours are placed next to the chair in a vase. Rose petals are also thrown outside the circle in vast quantities. The operator starts reciting the mantras in complete darkness. The mantras are repeated in 1000s of cycles again and again. A piece of small cloth soaked in mustard oil with Kamea inscriptions is burnt on the censor. Without question, the room will be filled with various presences. Although it is completely dark, the operator will be able to see these as most of them will be crowded around the circle, howling and shouting to the operator to stop the ritual. They will try and break into the circle but the will, faith and courage of the operator needs to be strong and he/she must not stop the recitation of the mantras until the full cycle is completed. This is the ultimate test of courage. The dagger at this point is clutched in the hands incase there is a breach. The whole room will be in complete pandemonium. If the circle is broken then be prepared to have a physical fight.

Once the cycle of repetition is completed, the howling stops and a tall bodily figure can be seen either standing or sitting on the chair. The figure glows in brilliant yellow/red light and it is recommended not to look directly at it as severe damage can be done to the eyes because of the intensity of the light. The Jinn will not be a happy one as it has been forced to come against its wishes. Be prepared to face an angry Jinn at this point. After making peace usually the Jinn calms down for you to have a conversation etc.

Sometimes if you are unlucky you might find a Jinn which is extremely stubborn and violent natured that won't give up without a struggle. Again in this situation, one recites various mantras for constraints. This can take minutes to several hours depending upon the resistance. A conversation takes place and finally the Jinn is asked for a secret name which it reluctantly gives to the operator so when this name is whispered it arrives instantaneously for future evocations. Once the objective is met, the Jinn is released and thanked for its arrival. It is then asked to depart peacfully.

The Jinn may not want to leave thus poweful mantras for banishing is performed. Once the Jinn leaves the room comes back to its normal state. The operator does not leave the circle until a closing ritual is performed for his/her safety. The entire ritual from start to finish can last upto several hours and is extremely energy draining. The mental and physical stress is so demanding, for days afterwards the operator feels he/she is sufferring from severe bodily aches and pains. Before retiring to bed and whilst leaving the house for the next 21 days, various mantras are recited for the operator's protection. If the operator forgets to do this then they may be open for a Jinn attack whick can lead to ultimate death in worst scenarios. People that involve themselves in Jinn evocation have their lives changed completely. There is no turning back. You have to follow strict rules as a slight deviation and you are subject to serious injuries.

Shayateen

Shayāṭīn (شياطين; devils or demons), singular: Shayṭān (شَيْطٰان) are evil spirits in Islamic belief, inciting humans to sin by whispering to the heart (قَلْب qalb) via waswasaħ (وَسْوَسَة, “whispering”). By such, they always try to lead humans astray. Although demons are usually spoken of in abstract terms, and more often described by their evil influences only, they are depicted as ugly and grotesque creatures of hell-fire.

Mentioned 88 times, the Shayatin together with the angels, are the most frequently mentioned supernatural entities in the Quran. In the story of Adam and Eve, a shaitan tempts Adam to eat from the forbidden tree, arguing, God only prohibited its fruit, so they shall not become immortal, as narrated in Quran 7:20. According to Quran 15:16–18 shayatin rise against heaven in attempt to steal its secrets, but are chased by meteorites, however, unlike the jinn, may partly succeed, snapping some information. 2:102 mentions the shayatin as the teachers of sorcery. Quran 37:62–68 describes the fruits of Zaqqum, the tree of hell, as heads of shayatin. Surah 6:112 mentions shayatin among Ins (humans) and jinn (jinn). According to some exegetes, the term is used as an epithet to describe rebellious men and jinn, but to others, referring to shayatin who tempt among the jinn, and whose, who tempt among humans.

The hadith-literature depicts the shayatin as malevolent forces closely bound to humans and points to the presence of a Muslim's everyday life. A shaitan is assigned to every human (with Jesus as exception), and shayatin are said to move through the blood of human and into the heart in order cause temptation of the heart. Sahih Muslim mentions among the shayatin five sons of Iblis, who bring everyday calamities: Tir, “who brings about calamities, loses, and injuries; Al-A’war, who encourages debauchery; Sut, who suggests lies; Dasim, who causes hatred between man and wife; Zalambur, who presides over places of traffic." Shayatin try to disrupt the prayer or the ablution. Further they might appear in dreams, and terrorize people. When someone yawns, the mouth should be covered, since the shayatin might enter the body. The sun is said to set and rise between the horns of a shaitan, when prayers should cease, since this is the moment the doors of hell opened. Sahih al-Bukhari and Jami` at-Tirmidhi state that the shayatin can not harm the believers during the month of Ramadan, since they are chained in Jahannam (Gehenna (hellfire)).

The shayatin make up one of three classes of supernatural creatures in Islamic theology. But since they share, like jinn the characteristics of invisibility, some scholars put them merely under one category of the supernatural. However the prevailing opinion among the mufassirs distinguish between the jinn and shayatin as following:

While among the jinn, there are different types of believers (Muslims, Christians, Jewish, polytheists, etc.), the shayatin are exclusively evil. The jinn are mortals and die, while the shayatin only die when their leader ceases to exist. The father of the jinn is Al-Jann and the father of the shayatin is Iblis.

The shayatin are beings of the hell-fire, and although their origin is, like that of the angels, not mentioned in the Quran, Islamic scholars repeatedly asserted the idea, that the shayatin have been created from either smoke or the hell-fire itself.

The Quran describes the devil as a creature of fire. The devil's rejection and contempt toward humans originate from the devil's perception that fire is superior to mud. This sentiment was the cause of the devil's banishment from the heavens.

Comparable to demons or devils in Christian theology, shayatin are incapable of good and limited to "evil". Abu Mufti writes in his commentary of Abu Hanifa's al-Fiqh al-absat, that all angels, except with Harut and Marut, are obedient but all shayatin, except Ham ibn Him Ibn Laqis Ibn Iblis, are created evil. Only humans and jinn are created with Fitra, that means, both angels and shayatin lack free-will and are settled in opposition.

Shayatin are assumed to visit filthy or desacralized places. They tempt humans into sin and to everything that is disapproved by society, by their whisperings. It is commonly believed, that saying Bismillah, reciting a certain du'a (supplication), like "A'uzu Billahi Minesh shaitanir Rajiim" or the Suras "An-Naas" or "Al-Falaq" could ward off attacks of shayatin.

Surah Al-Nas or Mankind (Arabic: الناس‎, romanized: al-nās) is the 114th and last chapter (sūrah) of the Qur'an. It is a short six-verse invocation.

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
The Sovereign of mankind.
The God of mankind,
From the evil of the retreating whisperer
Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind
From among the jinn and mankind."

Surah Al-Falaq or The Daybreak (Arabic: اَلْفَلَق‎, al-falaq) is the 113th chapter (sūrah) of the Qur'an. It is a brief five verse invocation, asking God for protection from the evil.

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
From the evil of that which He create
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
And from the evil of an envier when he envies

Although it is impossible to gather all depictions of local traditions on folk Islam, these characteristics appear frequently. Since the Quran states in 2:102 that it was not Solomon who practised witchcraft but rather the shayatin. Witchcraft is also traced back to the shayatin (compare with the Christian understanding).

Many times these shayatin start cooking, they try to cook things up and conjure up all kinds of evil in this world, many times, they would put a little evil, a little hate, a little lust, a little jelousy, a little love of power and make a delicious soup and recipe to feed us with. Insha'Allah they will never be able to feed our souls desires and lead us stray. Alhamdulillah!

Sometimes many of these shayatin start sewing, when they sew each thread is a kind of evil in this world, many times they would put in a little envy, sometimes they would sew in a little lust, sometimes they sew in vanity, sometimes they sew in jelousy and sew and sew our clothes and tailor it to our needs & desires, usually the shorter the dress the better it is for the quicker they can reach their goals, then they dress us with it, insha'Allah the our souls will be dressed with heavinly blessings instead and we will be saved from the evil of this dunya, Insha'Allah!

It is also said that the shayatin prepare tea, they prepare all kinds of tea with different tastes and attributes, sometimes green tea, sometimes black tea, sometimes red tea, then they give to us to quench our thirst, they like tea because they can harvest the tea leaves, they do this because we harvest what we sow, Insha'Allah we will be harvesting good things and enjoying heavenly tea in this world and the next, Ameen!

Sometimes some of these shayatin start watching television, they watch us and how we act during our daily lives and cheer us on when we do bad, sometimes they direct the movies and instruct us in how to act and how to behave, what to say and what to do. Insha'Allah we will be guided by Allah (swt)! Ameen Ya Rabal Alameen!

Taghoot

Taghut (ar. طاغوت, Tāġhūt) is seen as derived from the three-letter Arabic verbal root of ط-غ-ت T-G-T which means to "cross the limits, overstep boundaries," or "to rebel."

From this, Taghut denotes one who exceeds their limits. The term taghut occurs eight times in the Quran. In Pre-Islamic Arabia it referred to pagan deities such as Al-Lat and Al-Uzza. In traditional theology, the term often connotes idols or demons drawn to blood of pagan sacrifices denoting a focus of worship other than God.

"Do you not see how those given a share of the Scripture, [evidently] now believe in idols and evil powers? (Taghut) They say of the disbelievers, 'They are more rightly guided than the believers." — Qur'an, Sura 4 (An-Nisa), ayat 51

This is taken to refer to an actual event in which a group of disbelieving Meccans went to two eminent Jewish figures for counsel on the truth of Muhammad's teachings and were told that the pagans were more rightly guided than Muslims.

"Do you [Prophet] not see those who claim to believe in what has been sent down to you, and in what was sent down before you, yet still want to turn to unjust tyrants for judgement, although they have been ordered to reject them? Satan wants to lead them far astray." — Qur'an, Sura 4 (An-Nisa), ayat 60

Many times these devils try to paddle their way into our lives, Alhamdulillah, they will never reach their destination...

The Arabic taghut is variously interpreted to refer to idols, a specific tyrant, an oracle, or an opponent of the Prophet.

"The believers fight for God's cause, while those who reject faith fight for an unjust cause (taghut). Fight the allies of Satan: Satan's strategies are truly weak." — Qur'an, Sura 4 (An-Nisa), ayat 76

Again, this term taghut has been used here to designate a demon worshipped by the Quraysh.

"There is no compulsion in religion: true guidance has become distinct from error, so whoever rejects (taghut) false gods and believes in God has grasped the firmest hand-hold, one that will never break. God is all hearing, all knowing."— Qur'an, Sura 2 (Al-Baqarah), ayat 256

Insha'Allah by rejecting false gods (Taghut) in our lives and simply beleiving in the one and only Allah (swt) we will be safe. There is no compulsion in religion, which means you dont have to actually practice Islam to benefit from Islam, sometimes simply seeing something Islamic, hearing a dua or prayer or even Azan (call to prayer) or just believing in Allah (swt) is enough to save us, as we would have grasped the firmest hand-hold, one that will never break. In fact the hardest and most pious life is one without protections, prayers, zikrs or duas as it requires the strongest faith and Iman.

Zikr (Chanting)

The importance of constant Zikr cannot be emphasized enough, particularly if we desire to be on the receiving end of Allah's attention, Grace and Mercy. Allah tells us in the Quran: “Then remember Me, I will remember you.”(2:152)

ALL YOU NEED:

اعوذ بالله - I seek refuge with Allah
بسم الله - In the name of Allah
الحمد الله - Thank Allah
سبحان الله - Praise Allah

The benefits of Zikr (Remembrance of Allah)

Allah subhana wa taalla says in the Quran that 'surely in Zikr peoples hearts find content'

Allah says in Hadith Qudsi that i am how one perceives me to be and i am with my believers all the time, If one remembers me in the heart then i remember him in solitude, and if one remembers me in a group then i also remember him in a group better then his (group of angels)

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has narrated that 'should i not tell you a practice which is most powerful and near to Allah and is pure and elevates ones Maqam (spiritual station) and is better then giving gold and silver in charity and better then fighting in jihad' the companions asked Ya Rasoollalah what is better then all this? The prophet said doing ZIKR.

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has narrated that Zikr is better then giving in charity (amal khair)

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has narrated that angels roam the earth looking for people doing Zikr and when they find someone they call out to the other angels who come and surround the person from the earth to the sky.

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has narrated that the person who does Zikr and the person who doesn't do Zikr is a example of the living and the dead

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has narrated that when people are doing Zikr the angels appear and surround the people and Allah's mercy and lights are given to the people so that people will feel peace and Allah remembers and talks to the angels about the people doing Zikr.

The companions asked the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him what advice can you give us so that we stay firm and spiritually strong the prophet replied do the Zikr of Allah.

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has said that one should remember Allah to the extent that people think you are mad.

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has narrated that one should remember Allah so much that ones death comes while one is in Zikr.

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has narrated that in ones heart there is a angel and a devil and when one remembers Allah then the devils runs away and when one doesn't do Zikr then the devil will build a fort a castle in ones heart (meaning that the devil will overpower ones heart). So that the devil will start to whisper evil and temptations and place them into our hearts.

What kind of hearts do we have today? the most sinful (shaitani) heart? the most cheating heart? the most lustful heart? the coldest heart? the most evil heart? the most political heart? the blackest heart? or the most kindest, the most loving and nicest hearts? Insha'Allah Allah (swt) will make our hearts pure and place that which is best for us in it, Ameen Ya Rabel Alameen!

The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has said that there is a piece of meat in ones body and if one keeps it clean then the whole body is clean and if one keeps it dirty then the whole body is dirty and that piece of meat is the Heart.

The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has said The person who Reads the Morning Prayer in mosque (Jamaat) and stays sitting and does Zikr until sunrise then that person prays the voluntarily 2 Rakats sunrise prayer (Ishraaq) and then comes out of the mosque one will receive the rewards of Hajj and Umrah

The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has said that the people of Allah are the ones who remember him when they look at the sky, moon, and stars and contemplate.

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has said that the one who does Zikr of Allah constantly will go into Paradise laughing.

The reason for Zikr is because it creates lights and closeness to Allah it also creates happiness and spiritual joy, by doing Zikr one is always aware of Allah

it stops one from evil and makes one a better person, ones worldly and spiritually problems are solved.

It is renowned for Sufi's to recite Zikr 124,000 times everyday, While some recite 11,000 times everyday which in turn makes a Sufi to advance in spiritual degrees.

There are different methods of doing Zikr such as Zikr Jahri (loud Zikr) and Zikr Khafi (silent Zikr) both are very powerful the tariqat Naqshbandi are famous for the silent Zikr while the Qadri tariqat are famous for loud Zikr which ever Zikr one chooses one will get close to Allah.

The Qalandar Tariqat do both Zikr and are able to do all practices and wazeefa of any tariqat the reason being is that the Qalandar Tariqat are free from all shackles and are able to take secrets and knowledge from all tariqats.

Awliya Allah (Friends of Allah) (اولیاالله)

Awliya Allah, Saints or Friends of Allah have appeared since the world began these people possess such powers given by Allah through their pious deeds.

There are many references in Hadith and Quran about the Awliya but i will only explain a few quotes

Allah (azawajal) says in the quran that "Verily the friends of Allah shall have no fear nor shall they grieve"

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has said beware of the vision of a Mumin (believer) for he sees by the light of Allah. Ones intentions and deeds are known by the Awliya Allah, they also have great knowledge ilm ladunni. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has said  "Know yourself and you will know Allah.

What is a Qalandar? A Qalandar is called a free spirit who has no wordly shackles and they are different from all human nature one Qalandar possess the power of 100 Walis (saints). Qalandars have discarded they human nature and flown to thier lord. Qalandars can seem to be strange or act or dress strange their personality is different and sometimes bizare, But a Qalandar is in Jazb a secret reality intoxicated in the love of Allah and his messenger.

Here are some great Wali Allah of the Qalandar Order.

Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar

Shahbaz real name is Hazrat Syed Usman, from an early age he worshipped day and night even though he was born in a royal family his linege goes back to syedna Muhammad (peace be upon him).

He reached great Spiritual heights at a young age being famous for flying in the air like a bird, it was when he was flying that he was pulled down to earth by a Wali who was watching below.

When Shahbaz asked why he was pulled down from the sky the saint replied that one should not show his powers openly and that people should have privacy and you should not be watching from the sky.

When Lal Shahbaz and his companions went to pilgramage to Medina. They were returning from the Prophet's Tomb they stopped one night in some place, it was there that Hazrat Farid Shakar went to buy bread for the party.

The bakers wife conceived passion for Hazrat Farid but Hazrat Farid Shakar rejected her advances it was then that the baker's wife began to scream that Hazrat Farid Shakar had tried to outrage her. Hazrat Farid was dragged to the Wazir (Governor) and condemned to instant execution.

Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar heard of it and took steps to rescue his innocent friend. He changed one of two remaining friends of his into a deer so to attract the attention of the people who had gathered to witness the execution. The crowd ran madly after the deer to catch it. While Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar turned his second friend into a lion. The  lion advanced towards the executioners they fled seeing the lion.

Then Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar changed himself into a Falcon and flew down to pick up Hazrat Farid Shakar and place him somewhere safe by this karamat (miracle) Shahbaz Qalandar got the name of  Shahbaz.

He lived to a great age more then 100 years and is believed to be one of the greatest Qalandars who made famous the name of Qalandar.

Bu Ali Qalandar

Bu Ali's real name was Sharfuddin, His lineage reaches Hazrat Imam Abu Hanifa the great sunni scholar. Bu Ali was born in Panipat, India.

He completed his islamic studies at an early age and started to teach in his local school. He was counted among renowned scholars and top-ranking teachers regarded him with respect.

Hazrat Bu-Ali Shah went through a sudden spiritual change in his life and in Jazb (rapture) he threw away all of his books, and then went to look for a spiritual guide he came across Sufi Saint Hazrat Khwaja Qutub-ud-din Bakhtiyar Kaki (The spiritual teacher of Baba Farid).

Hazrat Bu-Ali requested him for Bay't (to become his spiritual desciple).Khwaja Bakhtiyar Kaki refused & said that I don't have such power to make you my spiritual desciple, but I can take you to your Murshid (spiritual teacher). After saying that, Khwaja Bakhtiyar Kaki took his hand & put it to the hand of Hazrat Ali, the 2nd Caliph. Hazrat Ali taught him spiritual lessons, and after finishing, Hazrat Bu-Ali became a Majzoob. And became famous with the title of "Bu-Ali", although earlier he was known as Sharfuddin.

His famous storys goes that he underwent 12 years of chilla ( spiritual retreat) near the river and after 12 years he heard a devine voice saying "O Bu Ali Qalandar get out of the water your chilla has been accepted" to this Bu Ali replied in ectasy " No i will not get out of the water if you insist then get me out of the water with your own hands"

He underwent 36 years of spiritual retreat near the river in every 12 years he heard a devine voice saying "what do you want" in which he replied "i want to be Ali" it was then Hazrat Ali appeared 36 years later to tell Bu Ali that he cant be Ali but instead he can have the fragrance of Ali this is how his name was made famous " Bu Ali Qalandar" meaning the smell of Ali.

He lived in Panipat till death, and served the people. Hundreds drew spiritual or divine benefits from him. Thousands embraced Islam because of him. The Rajputs, who lived around, were the great beneficiaries.

One day a disciple of Shamsuddin Turk went to the city on an errand and saw Bu-Ali Shah riding a Tiger and told the episode to Shamsuddin Turk who said to his disciple: "Go to Bu-Ali Shah and if you see him riding the Tiger, tell him: "The Tiger should live in the jungle." The disciple  found Hazrat Bu-Ali Shah and conveyed his teacher's message. Bu ali rose from his place and immediately went to the jungle.

He died on 17, Ramadan 724 Hijri at Karnal.

Few days before death he told to his desciples that after death bury me in "Panipat". Later, he didn't feel well & travelled to Karnal, there he went in the condition of "Jazb" (ecstasy), holding a branch of tree to stand. There he stood like a statue, and in that condition he died.

People in Karnal buried him there. At the same night the Holy Prophet peace be upon him came into the dream of Hazrat Sirajuddin Makki (who was teacher of Hazrat Bu-Ali in Sharia and told him to take the body of Hazrat Bu-Ali to Panipat, and bury him here. In the morning he went to Karnal to do so, but the people there prohibited him. So he made a coffin and placed bricks inside and took it to Panipat, thinking that if Hazrat Bu-Ali was a true Wali then he would come into this coffin by himself.

When he reached near Panipat, he found the ruler of the state coming from ahead. The ruler asked him whos coffin is it? Hazrat Sirajuddin said that it's the coffin of Hazrat Bu-Ali. The ruler desired to see his face and when Hazrat Sirajuddin pulled the sheet from the coffin and saw that Hazrat Bu-Ali Qalandar is lying in the coffin amazad and shocked he took it to Panipat & buried him there.

Hazrat Zhul Al Nun Misri

He was a famous Qalandar and dervish, And came from Egypt, Sufis say that the Qalandar order and the Malamati order comes from him,  He was very eminent in his spiritual statues and he walked on the path of affliction and on blame (malamati). He spent most of his life travelling and wandering in deserts

His interests in Sufism began when he had a remarkable change when he saw a young Sufi who was hanging upside down on a tree and was continuously saying to his Nafs (Ego)  'Until you dont come to my side to pray to God and worship Him, I will continue to punish you, until you die'.

After seeing this Zul Nun began to cry, The dervish asked him about the reason of his crying. He said: 'I thought that you've killed some one, that's why you are punishing yourself like that.' The young dervish told him to go to a mountain where a Sufi is staying, he should go and meet him Zul Nun went there and saw that a dervish is sitting there and his one leg was cut off and lying near him, Zun Nun asked him that how did he lose his leg? The Sufi replied 'Once I was busy worshiping God when suddenly i saw a beautiful woman passing through, I felt attracted towards her and moved towards her with bad intention while i was just about to move i heard the Divine voice saying 'O shameless After 30 years of worshipping Me, now you are going to worship Satan',

After hearing that I cut off my leg as it was the first that moved towards the woman', The dervish then told Zun Nun about another dervish, who was living at the top of that mountain, but beause it was impossible to climb over the mountain to go to the top, the dervish decided instead to tell Zul Nun about his story, He said 'That dervish once sweared that he will never eat anything from the hands of humans, so for many months he didn't eat anything, later God sent some bees to him, who regularly provided him with honey. He is living by eating honey since then.

After seeing this all, Zul Nun retired from this world and began his journey on the Sufi path.

He kept his statues hidden and it was only when he passed away that people repented and knew who he really was, It is known that when he died 70 people saw the holy prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who said that 'I have come to meet Zhul Nun the friend of god', and on his forehead when he died was written 'This is the beloved of allah, who died in love of allah, slain by allah, also on his funeral the birds were seen to shadow his body with their wings.

After seeing this the egyptians repented and held remorse for all the injustuce they had done to him, About his famous life it is said that Zhul Nun and his disciples were in a boat and were sailing down the River Nile when a boat came towards them full of merry makers and sinners, The disciples seeing this were disgusted and outraged they asked Zhul Nun to implore god so that their boat sinks, instead he prayed to god to give them a good life in this world and the next the disciple were astonished by his prayer but as soon as the boat came near the merry makers saw Zhul Nun and became emotional they broke their flutes and began to cry and repented.

To this Zhul Nun said 'that a good life in the next world is the repentance in this world, now you and them are all satisfyied with no harm to anyone'.

While traveling Zhul Nun met an old woman in the desert he felt intrigued to ask her a question , so when the woman came near he asked her from where have you come from she replied 'From god' where are you going 'To god', he then took out a peice of  gold and offered it to the woman who replied 'Oh Zhul Nun the notion you have formed about me is from the feebleness of your intelligence i work for god and accept nothing except from god, I worship him alone and take from him alone'.

His famous sayings are ' Sincerity is the sword of god on earth, It cuts everything it touches'

An Gnostic (Arif) is more lowly (humble) every day for he is approaching nearer to god every moment

Rabia Basri Qalandar.

Rabia Al Adawiya was born in Basra, Iraq, She came from a poor family and was the fourth daughter thus she was named ''Rabia'' meaning the Fourth.

A famous story from her birth was that there was no Oil lamp to light the house so her father who truly trusted (Tawakkul) in Allah to the extent that he vowed that he would not beg from anyone and would only ask from Allah was sent by Rabia's mother to ask for a lamp, He went outside and pretended to go to the neighbours house but returned empty handed. Being saddened that he could not even provide for his new born, Rabia's father became thoughful and sad.

At night he was blessed to see the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in a dream who told him that his daughter is the friend of Allah (Wali Allah) and will she will guide many people to Islam. The Prophet then instructed him to go the Amir of Basra and convey to him this message that every night you recite Salutions (Darood Shareef) upon me 100 times at night and 400 times on the Thursday night, However as you have not recited last Thursday you shall have to compensate by giving 400 dinars to the bearer.

After seeing the dream Rabia's Father was delighted and emotional he hurried to the Amir of Basra and conveyed the message from the Prophet the Amir was delighted to know that he was in the sight of the Prophet and gave 1000 Dinars to the poor and paid Rabia's Father 400 dinars and instructed him to come again if he needed help as he was the beloved of Allah.

Due to a famine in Basra which made Rabia a orphan she was kidnapped while in a Caravan and sold in the market as a slave she used to do all chores and keep fasts in the day and at night remember Allah and pray, Then one night her master was awokened to see light above Rabia's head he become shocked that he was keeping a saint as a slave and called her in the morning and set her free and seeked forgiveness.

From then on Rabia went to solitude and seclusions and prayed in the wildernesses and deserts, She approached Allah by herself without a teacher or guide and sacrificed her whole being in love and awe. She kept little possessions and had a Brick as a pillow, A broken jug to do ablutions, and a mat to pray on.

She was the first to introduce that Allah should be worshipped out of love and not fear, She had many diciples and followers and had many proposals for marraige that she rejected even a proposal from the Amir of Basra himself She rejected due to that she had no time and no ''Other'' in her heart except Allah.

Her most Famous poem is given below:

"O Allah! If I worship You for fear of Hell, burn me in Hell,
and if I worship You in hope of Paradise, exclude me from Paradise.
But if I worship You for Your Own sake,
grudge me not Your everlasting Beauty.''

Rabia always stressed on repentance and how it is a mercy from god, As only the one who god gives a chance can repent.

Her Miracles:

One day Hazrat Hasan Basri saw Hazrat Rabia near a lake. He threw his prayer rug on top of the water and said: "Rabia come! Let us pray two raka'ts here." She replied: "Hasan, why you are showing off your spiritual power?, She threw her prayer rug into the air and flew up onto it and said "Come up here, Hasan, where people can see us." Then she said: "Hasan, what you did fishes can do, and what I did flies can do. But the real Power is outside these Miracles One must apply oneself to Allah alone.

Once Hazrat Rabia was on her way to Makka, and when half-way there she saw the Kaa'ba coming to meet her and she said "It is the Lord of the house whom I need, what have I to do with the house? I need to meet with Allah who says, Who so approaches me by a span's length i will approach him by the length of a cubit. The Kaa'ba which i see has no power over me what joy does the beauty of the Kaa'ba bring to me?"

At the same time the great Sufi Saint Hazrat Ibrahim bin Adham arrived at the Kaa'ba, He spent fourteen years making his way to the Kaa'ba because in every place of prayer he had performed two raka'ts of prayer

Hazrat Ibrahim bin Adham seeing that the Kaaba was not there said: " What has happened it maybe that some injury has overtaken my eyes.?" An unseen voice said to him: "No harm has befallen your eyes, but the Kaa'ba has gone to meet a woman, who is approaching this place." Ibrahim Adham said: " Who is this woman?" He being suprised saw Rabia coming and the Kaa'ba was back in its own place, when Ibrahim saw that, he said: "O Rabia, what is this disturbance and trouble which you have brought into the world?"

She replied: "I have not brought disturbance into the world, it is you who have disturbed the world, because you delayed fourteen years in arriving at the Kaa'ba." He remarked "Yes I have spent fourteen years in crossing the desert because i was in prayer." Rabia said: "You traversed it in ritual prayer (Salat) but with personal supplication (you did not think about anyone else)." Then, having performed the pilgrimage, she returned to Basra and occupied herself with spiritual exercises.

May Allah bless Rabia Qalandar and make her a intercessor for us. Ameen

One who recites the two words for 10 Fridays and 10,000 times every Friday no wild beast would harm him. Allah would make him needless sooner or later. If he recites with it Surah Hamd in the same way, Allah would give him needlessness.

One who recites the words in excess:

“O Bestower to those who ask.”

Allah would make him needless of asking.

[1] Al- Balad al-Amin, Ash-Shaykh Kafa’mi, Pg. 714-771

[2] as-Simia: It deals with the ways of combining the will-power with particular physical and material forces for manipulating the natural order and, thus, producing extraordinary effects. Under this head comes the manipulation of thought, also known as the eye-enchantment.

And for those who fool heartedly take any names of Allah without proper preparations (not being pure or clean) do start to suffer from side effects like headaches or feeling a heavy burden on ones head, Other effects like fever, pains and disasters.

So i say approach '' purity with purity'' and ''like attracts like''

For every name of Allah there is a Angel attached they can be invoked in rituals and spiritual works by reciting the name of Allah a million times (one can finish in many days or weeks) one will become an Adept of the name and one will then be able to command that angel, Apart from that ones wishes are fullfilled and one becomes successful and rich.

And for Each letter there is a Angel attached, These letters carry a deeper meaning and power, each letter can be recited many times to invoke angels and to be blessed with spiritual knowledge.

What people dont understand when writing Naqsh or Taweez is that the letters first need to be mastered so that one recieves spiritual power and angelic help, Each letter and the Angelic name to go with it must be recited everyday for numerous times, This helps one in writing Taweez and other spiritual works.

Without doing this the taweez does not have any chance of working or being powerful.

See The table of Angelic Names below:

Also one needs to know that each letters or elements are facing different directions and when writing the Taweez it should be done facing that direction.

Sharaf al-Shams basically means the nobility of the sun. It is called this name because of the time when the talisman is written. It can only be written in one specific time in the year, on the day when the sun is aligned with Aries (burj al-haml). The Persian date for this would be 19th of Farvardin, or in common calendar it is 8th of April. The time should be between 11am until 11pm. It is said that this time is the best time of the alignment between the earth, the sun and the moon.

It is a talisman, attributed to Imam Ali (a.s.), in the form of special symbols and numbers written on yellow paper, deer skin, with yellow ink, or engraved on the back of a yellow agate (‘aqiq) stone. Again this must happen only on this specific date in the year.

There is also a poem attributed to Imam Ali (a.s.), describing the symbols of the Sharaf al-Shams. This date also coincides with one of the ancient Iranian festivities celebrated by Zoroastrians. Another name for it is Talsam Sulaymani, in reference to Prophet Sulayman (a.s.).

There are many other relevant pieces of information that further support the merit and importance of this hirz.

Benefits of Hirz Sharaf al-Shams:

Banishes sorrow, depression, bad luck, and negativity.
Repels poverty, illnesses.
Nullifies magic, and protects you from evil eye and envy.
Brings you honour and prestige.
Brings you health and sustenance.
Increases your wealth and money.
Protects its holder from evil of humans, jinn and nature.
Keeps you safe from wild animals.
Cure insomnia.
Will enable you to wake up early, for Fajr prayers, and be an early-riser.
Living longer life, family happiness and prosperity.
Gives you spiritual aura and enlightenment.
Cleanses and eases your blood circulation.

The ‘Aqiq stone itself is very powerful as well. It will keep you safe in trips, it will increase your sustenance, bring you blessings and success, your prayers will be accepted, and evil will be banished from you.
