Shirzad Sharif's Imperial Armoury
Abol Hasan Sabā (April 15, 1902 – December 19, 1957) (Persian: ابوالحسن صبا) was a renowned Iranian composer, violinist, and setar player who used to work in the Imperial Armoury of Iran. He left the Armoury to work at the Iranian Radio and Television.

بازوبند قدیمی مزین به آیاتی از قرآن - در طول تاریخ مسلمانان با استفاده از تعویذ های مختلف خود را در هنگام نبرد محافظت می‌کردند، حکایت است که در طول جنگ افغانستان با شوروی سابق مجاهدین با استفاده از بستن تعویذ ۴ قل خود را محافظت می‌کردند و تیر به آنها اصابت نمیکرد، در سیستم پهلوانی نیز بازوبند به دست قهرمانان بسته میشده است و به عنوان پاداش به آنها هدیه داده می شده است

Throughout history muslim warriors would utilize various Taweezes to protect themselves during battle. It is said that even during the Afghanistan-Soviet Union war, the Mujahideen would utilize various Taweez Arm-band amulets and were thus invisible towards bullets flying towards them. In the Pahlevani tradition it is customary to award & bestow the Champions with the Pahlevani Arm-band (Bazu-band) as a gift or medal of honor.

In Iran each city has been known to produce certain weaponry for the Ancient Persian Army for thousands of years till this day, these are handcrafted works of art that have been produced this way for thousands of years from generation to generation. For example, Zanjan produces blades, Arak produces Armors, etc. I hope to add to this collection as each piece and work of art is acquired and added to the collection. Insha'Allah!
